MIAMI FLORIDA

Straight from Washington DC we jumped in the plane and flew to Miami.
We didn't have any bigger expectations, it was just another place on the list.
We were more like - California will be it and Miami it's just Miami.
And.. as soon as we got there we realized that the reality is nothing what we expected.
Miami is like a dream, there is no bad things or places about Miami.
Every single place we attend was great and I'm not lying. The pictures are showing it.
First of all, we spent our first night in such a great place - Bikini Hostel on South Beach. Right away when we entered there was so many people from all over the world willing to make friends and music was just killing it, I felt like home. The rest of our stay, we spent couchsurfing, living with such a great man Wayne. It was our first couchsurfing experience and Wayne made it the as best as possible. If you are reading it - thank you so much for taking care of us :)

So the whole trip was awesome and I have photos below to prove it.

Enjoy (cos I was)

Downtown introduction:

And the beach which was one of the most beautiful I have ever seen (and there is a lot) the see color was clear green, blue - just beautiful and super warm. Perfection.

In Miami you can hear Spanish in almost every corner, there is a huge Latino culture part in the city called Little Havana. I've never been to Cuba but now I can say that it must be a great place, the climate there was so cool. Check it:

But not only Miami is what Florida has to offer. Everglades National Park are the wetlands of Southern part of this state. You can meet there many kinds of reptiles and other wild animals.
The place was very exotic and we were so excited!!

To see the swamps closer you take the air boat which is a great fun by itself :

As you can see our guide was very familiar with this area. No fucks, he just jumped in :D

Newborns alligators  chilling on the leaves, that was a great view. Aren't they super cute??

Wildlife show was something I didn't really understand, because I'm always pro animals person and seeing this alligator being poked by this guy wasn't very pleasant for me, I just treated it like a lesson.

But I couldn't resist him!

Everglades wasn't so far from Miami so after we finished we found another great place of Miami -artistic district called Wynwood and it was magical. The graffiti was so good!

Look at those places, Miami people has great imagination.

On our last day we took a long trip to the most Southern part of United Sates - Key West. To get there we had to take a highway by small islands and in some parts it was just a way above the ocean. That was SO beautiful. You felt like you're on a highway to heaven !!!

Little bit windy on Key West, but the ocean was still warm.

Once again, how far is to Wroclaw??

Cloudy, cloudy Florida. I love you!

I hope you like it.

BOSTON & NEW YORK

I'm back ! :D
As many of you know I spent all summer in United States or if you here somehow by accident - I was living in America for almost 4 months. I took part in a program called Camp America which is one of a possibilities to work and travel around USA. So basically I was working on a summer camp for 2 and a half months and then I had a month to travel before my visa was over. I'm not going to write a lot about working and Camp America participation, I was thinking about creating separate post about it, let me know if you want to read about it. I thinks its a great opportunity to explore United States so I will encourage everyone who is a student to take part in it. Its a great adventure!

So after I finished my work on a camp and as soon we took off in New York we stared our crazy "both costs" journey full of surprises and really messed up situations but it was definitely worth it. Photos I'm posting today are from Boston and New York. Its the first part of East Cost journey, we pretty much visited all of the important places and I took over 900 photos, so be patient!

My camp was between Boston and New York, 2 hours driving to both so we took a trip to Boston while being on a camp, it was my first biggest city so I was very impressed how all these skyscrapers are looking when you see it live, and maybe because Boston is the oldest city in the United States it was a history lesson, undeniably good beginning. First we went to Cambridge where the Harvard University is placed. It is the most prestigious university in the world, on the list of people who were studying there we can see a few polish surnames such as Czesław Miłosz and Agata Passent but its definitely about Barack Obama, Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg and others big names of America. It was good but I still prefer my Academy :)

First view of Boston is impressive, isn't it?

Around Boston there is a red trial leading you to the most important monuments, building and places it is about 12 miles so of course we didn't do it all but we tried to see all the historical parts of the city such as this cemetery when you can see the graves of people who were creating constitution of United States. The one in the middle is Benjamin Franklin's parents grave.

\

Boston has one of the best Chinatown, the gate is very impressive, I loved it !

And the last part of our trip is Bunker Hill Monument similary the oldest monument in USA.
A lot of cities have the same type of monument, you could see one in Washington DC for example.

CAMP IS OVER, WELCOME TO NEW YORK - THE BEST CITY IN THE PLANET.
Seriously. New York was my biggest dream, like the biggest of the biggest, but I couldn't even expect how great this city is and now I'm dreaming only about an apartment in Manhattan (YES I'M GONNA MAKE IT) Well, just take a look on the photos I took, It says everything !

I had this pleasure to spent all together about 7 days in New York (at the beginning of my trip and at the end because our flight back was from JFK).

Of course the first place we went to was Time Square. It is amazing to be there no matter if its day or night there is a lot of people and it just looks so amazing! You can meet a lot of dressed up people doing impressions of many characters from tv or just being a Statue of Liberty.

In New York we were moving by subway. It's the best way to quickly change place. The city is so big that sightseeing only Manhattan took us 3 days!

At night this place is even better!

Flatiron Building:

Chrysler Building:

I was so excited about seeing Gran Central Station I think because of Gossip Girl but anyway this place is as majestic as it appears to be!!

As we couldn't say anything wrong about the weather in NYC (it is usually very hot and humid) as soon we reached Brooklyn Bridge it started raining.

I love this view:

After the bridge we took a walk in lower Manhattan, visiting 9/11 Memorial.
Big well surrounded by big buildings and the new World Trade Center.
I got so emotional in this place, the foggy weather make it even more.. I can't use worlds to describe it, you just felt that something frightening happend there.
Definitely one of the places which made a big impression on me.

World Trade Center:

Next day we took a ropeway to Rosevelt Island (yep - this one Kayne West had his Yezzy fashion show on) It is one of the options to see the aerial view of Manhattan.

East River and Upper East Side

And here we are: Central Park, basically the only green area on Manhattan. Looks exactly like in movies! And little sailing boats are real, you can rent one.. WOW *.*
(that wasn't me, that was my inside baby)

Alice in Wonderland Statue:

Rockefeller center. During the winter this is the place where the big Christmas Tree stands.
Omg how much I wish to be in New York in winter, you don't even know :)

View on Williamsburg Bridge from Brooklyn Brigde.
We did Brooklyn Bridge again but in a different way, we walk through it from the Brooklyn side and the weather this time was just perfect.

Headphones? I don't know why, but if you know let me know ! :D

You can see how the weather in New York can change in one minute, we took a ferry to Staten Island to see the Statue of Liberty and again as soon as we got on the board it started heavily rain :(

Statue by itself. It's beautiful but smaller then everybody expects !

Lower Manhattan view.

And our host Lubomir:

As you can see New York is amazing, my favorite city in all United States and I was in a lot of them. No comparable, one in a kind. I expected it to be little bit more crowded but it's even better that it wasn't,. Everything about Big Apple is amazing.

New York
Concrete jungle where dreams are made, oh
There's nothing you can’t do
Now you’re in New York
These streets will make you feel brand new
Big lights will inspire you
Let's hear it for New York

The end of part 1.
Let me know what do you think about it.
